Results Now Available Online With ABC Research's New LIMS System

ABC Research Corporation announces the completion of our online Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). We can now provide clients with direct access to their food test results as soon as they are completed. For example, depending on your test, results for samples submitted on Friday are available Sunday night.

The system is running on a web server. As a result, it can be accessed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our system is protected through a firewall with a login procedure. All transferred data between our system and client computers will be encrypted using VeriSign's SSL technology. Companies using this system will need no additional software. The system account is free of charge. Reports can be printed from your local printer.

The key advantage to the system is that the company submitting food or beverage samples for testing can get results as the tests are completed and posted. This means no waiting for fax, phone or email notification. Quality control and quality assurance directors at food production facilities will know quickly that their product is free of pathogens and safe to ship.

Fresh products with limited shelf life that must be shipped within critical time periods can be tested quickly. Each batch or lot that has been tested and approved can be shipped as soon as the result is posted to the LIMS. Companies do not have to wait until all batch samples have been tested and all results faxed before shipping. Product can flow from warehouses more quickly, reducing loss from spoilage or delay in delivery. That translates to fresher product delivered faster to grocers, restaurants, food processors, and ultimately to the consumer.
